Who is responsible

What we collect and why

When you generate a file or sign up for updates we store your email address, the time, the wording of the consent you gave, and — for the chart of accounts generator — the company name (if you entered one), country / framework, industry and legal form you selected. We use this to send you information about your download and about new tools. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.

The business description and options you enter are sent to our server and passed on to our AI provider to generate account suggestions. We do not store the description. Please do not enter personal or confidential data in that field.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical access data (IP address, time, requested page, browser) for security and operations. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). To limit abuse of the AI feature we keep a salted hash of your IP address for up to one hour.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising networks, external fonts or third-party analytics. The Excel file is generated in your browser.

Anonymous usage statistics. To see how the site is used, our own server records page views and steps in the generator (for example “clicked Generate”, the country chart and options chosen, whether the download succeeded), the referring website (host name only), campaign tags in the link, browser language and device type. No cookies are set and nothing is stored on your device. Visits on the same day are grouped by a salted, one-way hash of the IP address and browser that cannot be reversed; the IP address itself is not stored. If your browser sends “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control”, nothing is recorded. These statistics stay on our server and are not shared. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Retention period, e.g. 14 months.

Who receives data

STRATO AG, Berlin, Germany — web hosting (processor).
Anthropic, PBC, San Francisco, USA — AI processing of the options and business description you submit (processor). Transfers to the USA are based on Standard Contractual Clauses / EU–US Data Privacy Framework — confirm with the provider's DPA.

How long we keep it

Your email address and related consent record are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. State your retention period for inactive contacts, e.g. 24 months.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and receive a copy of your data, and to object to processing. Contact us at the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — name your authority, e.g. Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY), Sweden.
